Finishing School

Well, I have finished piecing my quilt top, now what? Of course, send the top to finishing school. Come and learn how to layout a quilt for pinning, methods for quilting, and how to bind.

Suggested Material and Tools:

  • Quarter-inch foot for the machine or another method for making a quarter- inch seam

  • Good long Egyptian cotton thread. It is recommended to choose a thread of a neutral color so it will blend in with whatever is used for background and faces.

    classroom if you wish)

  • Scissors

  • Curved safety pins
  • Plastic clips
  • Kwik Klip tool

  • Rulers Recommend the 6" × 24"Omnigrid or Creative Grid ruler.
  • The 3"× 18" and 1" × 6" is also useful
  • Two pieces of material at least 12" × 12" or larger and
