Poinsettia Prestige Table Runner
Take this two-session class to learn to machine embroider a beautiful poinsettia table runner using techniques of multi-hooping, positioning features on your embroidery machine, and stitching with metallic thread if desired. In the second session, you will learn to position and quilt the table runner in the hoop.
Materials Needed:
Poinsettia Prestige Table Runner pattern by Amelie Scott Designs
Embroidery machine with the ability to design (exact) position
Embroidery hoops - 200x200 or 260x200
Fabrics: Kits available purchase according to instructions
1 yard fusible Pellon Shape Flex 101 (SF101)
Thin batting
Heavy weight tear away stabilizer
Terial Magic Stabilizing Fabric Spray
Water soluble marker
Micro- pore tape
DIME Print & Stick Target Paper (Optional)
Dark, medium and light green embroidery thread
Dark, medium and light red embroidery thread
Brown, golden yellow embroidery threads
Gold Metallic thread if desired or a gold embroidery thread
Thread net if using metallic thread
Several bobbins wound with 60 wt white bobbin thread
Double sided basting tape
Several size 90 embroidery needles
Further instructions will be emailed out one week before class as there will be some pre-class preparations.

| Skill Details: | Learn proper use of stabilizer, multi-hooping functions, template and design positioning using your embroidery machine, how to stitch with metallic thread, and how to quilt the borders of the table runner in the hoop again using positioning features. |
| Requirements: | Embroidery machine with a minimum hoop size of 200x200 mm for stitching poinsettias; a 260x200 hoop will also work; no metal hoops. For quilting a 240x150 hoop is ideal along with a 120x120 hoop |
