Jelly Roll Rug Class

Supplies Needed:
"Jelly Roll Rug" pattern by RJ Designs.
Sewing machine that can stitch AT LEAST A 5MM WIDE ZIG-ZAG STITCH along with a straight stitch.
You need your zigzag sewing machine foot (not an open toe) - it should have a center line mark in front of the needle.
Also bring a 1/4 inch foot.
If you have one, please bring an extension table for your machine - the larger flat surface to the left of the machine gives you better results.
NEW Size 14 or 16 Jeans machine needle.
Rotary cutter, small mat and ruler (at least 17 inches long).
One Jelly Roll package - or 42 strips cut 2-1/2 inches wide by length of fabric.
Batting: 50 yards of Bosal Katahdin On-A-Roll 100% organic cotton
One large spool of 50 wt cotton thread (at least 1200 yds) to blend or contrast with your fabric.

Other recommended supplies: Mary Ellen's Best Press Spray Starch, glue stick or Roxanne's Glue Baste-It, Binder Clips, quilting gloves (useful but not required), essential sewing supplies (seam ripper, thread snips/scissors, straight pins, etc.).
