Rope Drawstring Bag
This class will show you how to make a rope bowl and attach it to a material top to create a drawstring bag. You will also learn to use various decorative stitches from the large selection available on your machine. It is highly recommended that the sewing machine you use have a minimum stitch width of 7mm and is able to handle the thickness of cotton rope.

| Requirements: | Tear away stabilizer, Fabric A 1/4 yard tiny print /or tone on tone fabric. Piece of fabric that coordinates with fabric A and large enough to get 8 - 2 inch squares. Fabric B 1/3 yard for lining to coordinate with fabric A. 12 yards 1/4 inch cotton rope, 2 beads with 3/8 inch opening, various colors of thread for decorative stitching, white or cream cotton thread for stitching the rope together, fabric marker, basic sewing supplies (scissors, seam ripper, pins, clips, etc:) basic sewing feet for your machine and a Universal 90 sewing needle recommended. |

Bought my first embroidery machine 10 years ago and then became interested in quilting 7 years ago. I have been working At Roberts Sewing Center for the past 5 years.
