Holiday Apron Sewing Project

Sew an apron ready for the Holidays. Easy to sew. Great for beginners and experienced sewers.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details:
Requirements: Sewing machine 1 yard woven cotton fabric scissors, thread, pins
Instructor: April Pearson
Instructor Bio: I?ve been sewing for over 25 years. My Mom and Grandmother were both sewers and my first sewing teachers. I learned a lot from them, but really didn?t stick with sewing until I took Home Economics during high school. That?s when I really dove into making my own clothes. I still sew a lot of the clothes for myself and family. My favorite garments to make are costumes. I?ve sewn many Halloween costumes for family and friends and have even won a costume design contest. My daughter is a cosplayer and I design and make all her outlandish costumes. My husband and I are reenactors and I make many of our outfits. Most of my costume inspirations come from fantasy, pop culture or history. Sewing is definitely my therapy.
