IMPORTANT TO DO BEFORE CLASS: Photocopy the witch hat pattern (page 39) and the pumpkin pattern (page 41). Please pre-cut the fabric pieces according to the directions under Cut List on Page 18 for the Large Witch Hat and Page 19 for the Large Pumpkin. You may be able to use scraps from your stash or buy new according to the directions.
You will also need Black DMC (or Valdani) embroidery thread for the spider and ribbon or other trim for the Witch's Hat.

NOTE: If you plan to hang these from a stand, you'll need 2 pieces of 3/8" ribbon at least 2-1/2" in length.
If you want to quilt these blocks in a crosshatch pattern, please copy the pattern on Page 46 onto an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of freezer paper (you will need 2 of these patterns).
